Reap Walking is the 20th episode from season 4 of The Grim Adventures of Billy & Mandy.
Plot[]
The episode begins with a rat getting food from a trash can. An owl then swoops down and grabs the rat in its talons. As it prepares to enjoy its meal, Grim's silhouette unleashes his scythe and seemingly reaps the owl.
The next morning, Grim is enjoying a cup of coffee at the table when pieces of Billy's "secret super waffle mix" splatter all over the place. Billy's mother then bursts through the door singing. She says good morning to Billy and Grim and states that it is a beautiful day, despite the fact that it is raining and her husband is caught in it. Grim asks her if she is mad, but she simply replies that there is no need to be grumpy on such a glorious day. Grim cites his role as the Grim Reaper, however Gladys believes Grim just needs cartoons to alleviate his frustration. A commercial interrupts and reports that a bunch of owls covered in mucus have been tied to a flagpole at the mall.
Billy, Mandy, Grim and Gladys go to the mall and the man aiding the owls, Corey Nebraska claims that Grim is the one who harmed the owls. He shows them security footage of him tying owls to a flagpole. Mandy wonders if Grim has been sleepwalking and Grim denies it.
That night, Mandy and Billy invite Corey to prove that Grim is innocent after all. They place an owl in a cage to catch him in the act, but he avoids the cage and sleepwalks into the kitchen to eat one of Billy’s chocolate dipped pickles. They catch Grim and wake him up, proving him innocent.
Just then, the alarm on the trap goes off and the gang spots the true culprit, which turns out to be Gladys wearing Grim's cloak and scythe. Gladys tries to justify this because apparently an owl ate her pet rat, Sniffles and framing Grim was a good excuse to finally get rid of him. Corey says that white owls are herbivores, so that couldn’t be what happened to Sniffles. Harold arrives and explains that he is the one who ate Sniffles (mistaking him for a badger) and that the white owl took a chunk of his hair. Gladys forgives Harold and asks what happened to her goldfish.
