King Tooten Pooten is the 4th episode from season 7 of The Grim Adventures of Billy & Mandy.

Plot[]

Irwin learns that he is the heir to his maternal grandfather, Poppin Lockin's legacy of pyramid-building. His mummy grandfather uses his strong Egyptian magic to turn everyone into Egyptians, so they can help in building pyramids. Grim, Mandy and Billy pay a visit to him to know who is behind this and confront him. Dick and Judy comes to stop King Tooten Pooten and end his reign of tyranny. Irwin has to make a decision: Either stop the people from making the pyramid, or force them make the pyramid and use it.

He decides to take the second option—complete the pyramid, not caring whether or not the citizens remain brainwashed for the rest of their lives. However, he eventually realizes that a pyramid is really a pharaoh‘s burial ground and that once the pyramid is closed, you cannot escape from there. Many years later, Irwin is eventually killed, mummified and buried into a sarcophagus next to Poppin, who is yelling at him.

Trivia[]

  • This is the only appearance of King Tooten Pooten.
    • The character's name (and the title of this episode) is a pun on both flatulence and Tutankhamun the ancient Egyptian pharaoh.
  • It is revealed that Irwin is literally half mummy ("from my tummy to my toes").
  • Poppin Lockin has a stereotypical Jewish accent and peppers his lines with some Yiddish words, which doesn't make any sense because he and his whole family is Egyptian and ironically, the Egyptians supposedly enslaved the Jews.
