Beast and Barbarians is the third segment of the ninth episode of Grim & Evil.

Plot

Billy and Irwin have been playing their favorite video game, Beasts and Barbarians, for three days non-stop. In an attempt to stop their video game addiction, Grim transports them all to a real-life version of the game. Seeing as Billy and Irwin are still doing good in their quest, Grim increases the difficulty by manipulating the traps himself. In the end, Billy, Mandy, and Grim return home escaping from a giant cyclops, while Irwin remains trapped.

Trivia

  • This is the first episode title card to have a different text font.
  • The scene where Mandy falls down into a cave is a direct reference to The Hobbit.
  • Billy would use a warhammer as his primary weapon again in the fighting game. His "I'm money, baby!" quote from this episode would also be used on that game whenever Billy knocks out Dracula.
  • Irwin would also use a spell book as his weapon on the fighting game, but it was different from the one in the actual episode.
